Our certification calculation and process are the culmination of over a year of research, data compilation and analysis leveraging our backgrounds in sustainability, environmental science and sustainable web design.
Jack Amend, CEO
Jack is Co-Founder of Web Neutral Project and is responsible for direction, design, and operations of the company. He is an Echoing Green Fellow and was recently selected for the Forbes 30 under 30 class of 2018 for Social Entrepreneurship. Jack is passionate about leveraging the power of business to tackle social and environmental problems. Prior to WNP, he founded Lab 300, a Santa Barbara-based creative agency that specialized in sustainable web design.
Matthew Reid, COO
Matt is Co-Founder of Web Neutral Project and lead developer of its innovative digital carbon footprint calculation. At WNP he is responsible for the operations of the company as well as its sustainability and environmental programs. He has a background in environmental science, sustainability, and web design. A passionate environmentalist, Matt's entire career is dedicated to building a more resilient, equitable and sustainable world.
Jake Giebel, CMO
Jake is the most recent addition to Web Neutral Project and is responsible for the outreach, social media, and marketing arm of the company. He has extensive experience with digital marketing, branding, and business development. He is no stranger to mission-driven organizations, as prior to WNP, he founded and managed a nationwide conscious clothing label, as well as the SEO and marketing department of Lab 300.
We're dedicated to sustainability.
Sustainability is ingrained in our company DNA. We're a 100% paperless business with all employees working remotely and no brick-and-mortar establishment. We offset 100% of business related travel and donate 5% of annual profits to sustainability & environmentally focused non-profit organizations. All digital based business operations is hosted by 100% on-site solar-powered data centers.

We're an EPA Green Power Partner, participant to the United Nations Global Compact, Green Web Foundation Partner and currently in the process of becoming B Corp certified.

We also produce annual reports to showcase our sustainability efforts.
